Garmin gives you five numbers every morning and very little explanation of what to do with them. This section is the missing manual: for each metric you get the definition, the official value bands, and three concrete steps to move it. The watch pages list the real battery figures from Garmin’s own specifications, side by side.
Metric glossary
Garmin Body Battery explained
Body Battery is a 0–100 estimate of your available energy. Garmin’s own bands: 0–25 low, 26–50 medium, 51–75 high, 76–100 very high — and here is what to do at each level.
Garmin HRV status explained
Garmin judges your HRV against your own baseline, not against a universal range. Here is what balanced, unbalanced, low and poor mean — and how long the data takes to appear.
Garmin sleep score explained
Garmin splits sleep score into four bands: 90–100 excellent, 80–89 good, 60–79 fair, below 60 poor. The global average is about 72.
Garmin stress score explained
Garmin’s all-day stress runs 0–100: 0–25 resting, 26–50 low, 51–75 medium, 76–100 high. It is derived from heart rate variability while you are inactive.
Garmin recovery time explained
Recovery time is the number of hours Garmin thinks you need before your next hard session. Under 24 h is light, 24–48 h moderate, 48 h+ means back off.
